It finally feels like Elise and I are settling into a bit of a routine on the mornings we are at home. I've been teaching Monday and Wednesday mornings and so Elise has been in Daycare. She seems to be loving it! Everytime I pick her up she is busy at play surrounded by kids and toys and all things fun. Our days start early and this has become the norm even on the days we spend at home. She takes about an hour to eat breakfast which she wants immediately. This allows me time to sit and sip my coffee and eat breakfast myself. I love the forced slow start to each day. After breakfast we wave out the window to Josh as he goes to work, get dressed then we play, read, attempt to clean, and Elise does her new favourite activity - Brushing Jack. All this is followed by Elise's nap time which is my opportunity to actually clean and prep my classes! I've been enjoying the little bit of predictability to most days. Elise is still busy, passionate and constantly on the go but I think she is enjoying the routine as much as I am.
