Today Eston held it's annual river trek to raise money for the operation of our sports complex. Although, we hope to try the half marathon in the future, we were pretty content to sit on the side of highway 33 and hand out water and snacks! It was the perfect day for a picnic! When we arrived home we were pretty happy to see some colour in our front garden!
We can hardly get a bottle into this girl anymore. It's play, play, stop for a sip and play some more! There is simply no rest for Koda. She moves from one chair to another trying to get away but Elise is always right there ready to grab hold of that tail!
One of Elise's favorite "toys" is her baby hair brush! When she isn't having her hair brushed it has a nice rubbery handle great for gripping in her tiny hands and chomping with her four tiny teeth! Although, those two top teeth are starting to look gigantic in her little mouth.
Elise has loved books ever since she was a teeny tiny baby. It's been fun watching her find books on the bookshelf open them up and turn the pages all on her own. She has already chosen some favorites: Hop on Pop by Dr. Seuss, Moo Baa LaLaLa by Sandra Boynton, and Each Peach Pear Plumb by Janet and Allan Ahlberg.
She's been pulling up for some time now but it wasn't until this morning that she started to realize what she is capable of.
Lee Lee just loves the phone! She has three toy phones but none of them are a replacement for the real thing.
