We spent most of today out in the yard blowing bubbles, throwing a ball for the dogs and just soaking up the sun. It was fairly chilly in the morning, but it didn't take long for us to start shedding our layers. The day was going great until Elise, who has always been cautious but never really afraid, started screaming in terror. She had a lady bug crawling up her sweater towards her face. I picked it up and held it for her to see. She quickly overcame her fear when we counted it's black spots, seven to be exact, and set it free. We'll see if she responds with the same fear next time.
