We have now been a family of four for six whole weeks. That means that it has been six weeks since my c section and I am now free to resume life as usual. No more thinking twice before hoisting Elise into her crib. To celebrate I decided I would take our four legged friends out for a walk. Walking certainly was not on the list of activities to avoid but these two are wild, and walking them is quite an athletic feat.
It was one of those evenings where it seemed that every dog in the town was out in their yards or also out walking with their families. Our dogs have the embarrassing habit of attacking each other when they come across another dog that is out of their reach! Some time spent at dog school would do them some good but the closest dog trainer is an hour away, in Rosetown, and it's hard to commit to making the trip every week for eight weeks. Maybe I should open a dog school in Eston. haha i'm sure i would only succeed in training all the dogs in town to be as wild and unruly as my own!
The sun was pouring into our living this evening warming it up perfectly for Tori's first tearless bath! She actually seemed to enjoy the water splashing against her little body.
Elise was enjoying the warmth of the sun too as she puttered around in her little summer dress and her sisters pants. She hasn't worn those pants since she was Tori's size. They still fit nicely in the waist and look like a sweet little pair of capris on her. These two girls are sharing clothes already.
