Yummy yummy mess!
In Leiu of napping Tori has been spending many of her mornings quietly watching all that there is to see through our big living room window. Today Elise, Sister-Bunny, and Sister-Bear joined in on the watching! The watching quickly turned into giggling! These two are such a joy to spend the days with! She's eleven months and won't sit still, has four teeth and acts like there are more on the way. She stands by herself, but won't take a step, loves to play catch and pull her sister's hair. She's courageous and sensitive, wiggly and giggly! We sure love this sweet little baby! And then there's this cheerful, imaginative, dog loving conversationalist who keeps us smiling and laughing everyday! What a life we live! Today is just a happy day full of smiles and dancing, sharing and playing! We had Elise and Tori's favourite friends over all morning. I love the influence these boys are on my Elise! They are daring and relentlessly energetic! Elise learns so much about creativity and courage from them. They are are so very gentle and sweet to my Tori and it is wonderful having them around! It is sure fun to see these two playing together. It takes a lot of teamwork to make sure all the "babies" we have around the house are well taken care of. And after a long busy morning nothing beats a little Relaxation! Elise helped me make pizza for supper tonight! She is getting to be a great helper! I think it might be time to start giving her a few little jobs to do around the house! We had big plans to take all the Christmas decorations down today, but made a last minute decision to skip afternoon naps and join some friends for some hot chocolate and cookies around a fire and a whole lot of sledding! It was fun,... but short lived. Hope this trip around the sun is as good as the last! |
