We had a nice visit with Grandma and Grampa!
Grampa let Elise and Tori shave his head today while Clara had a good long cuddle with Gruncle Wayne before he headed for home after a nice visit! This evening we had a blast celebrating our Tori's second birthday! Elise was pretty proud of her contribution to the party! She made the cookie for our big Cookie Monster Pom Pom that was hung above the table! We sure love our two year old! Tonight I tucked my little one year old Tori into her bed for the last time! Tomorrow she will be two. Two feels like a big leap for this mama! Josh says she'll only be one day older, but I know better! I know that I'll blink and she'll be three and a half just like her big sister! It goes too quickly and I find myself wanting to hold on and never let go. This one year old loves Elmo, and Big bird, and Cookie Monster. She likes to read and sing and dance. She will never take no for an answer, but after or later is okay! Here are a few of her favourite things: book: Llama Llama Wakey Wake. song: the wheels on the bus. food: apples and candy. friend: Jett. thing to play with: shoes. place to go: the college. I just can't get enough of her! This post is a special guest interview provided by Josh, Elise, and Tori. Happy Valentine's Day Laura! We love you so much! Elise and Tori have always taken their immunizations like little champs. This 11pound 8 ounce, 22 inch long beauty screamed! She screamed, and she screamed, and she screamed! She refused to be comforted. There was no telling her it was all going to be okay. It wasn't okay, it was mean, and rude, and the greatest of betrails. No one was going to stop her from making her feelings known! Then she fell aleep on the way home, and when she woke up it was all okay. This past week sucked! Haha! There is no way to put a positive spin on it. Tori, Clara and I were sick, There was a very small amount of sleeping and a very large amount of crying! It was starting to seem like it was going to be impossible to to recover. How can you beat a cold without sleeping? But here we are, tired, but smiling! A weekend at home, playing Lego was just what we needed. |
