Someone was very busy while I was switching over the laundry.
She even pulled down her pants and coloured on her butt! She is especially proud of that one!

Here is a little glimpse of what vacuuming looks like at our house. Everytime I pull out the vacuum both girls come running! Elise calls it her vacuum horsey and Tori shrieks with delight! Last week we painted some hard-boiled eggs. At first Elise was a little hesitant. She was very insistant that she doesn't like eggs. It didn't take her long to realize that painting eggs is very different than eating eggs. Tori had fun too! When we got home from church Josh and Elise had fun watching capsules turn into fun easter shapes. When I asked Elise what she might like for a special Easter treat, her response was: "hmmmm... maybe a carrot!" When she got up from her sleepless nap she followed a trail of chocolate eggs through the living room, behind the couch, and to the bookshelf where she discovered the treat she had been hoping for! It was a tough request to follow through on, but anything for this little girl! Tori is more partial to plastic eggs! Josh and Elise took advantage of the last bits of snow clinging to our grass. Elise was so excited to build a snowman. She didn't quite understand why we would leave it outside, and when she went to bed last night she was pretty worried that it would die. Her first words this morning were "I hope the dogs don't knock my snowman over!" Look at those faces! This morning josh and Elise headed outside to spend some time cleaning up the yard. Tori was quite upset at being left behind. Little did she know, being my little helper was going to be much more delicious. I am attending a bridal shower this evening and was asked to bring some chocolate dipped pretzels. This was a first for me. I've never been a fan of pretzels, and dipping them in chocolate didn't give them much more appeal, so I have always passed them over. They are delicious! The salty sweet combination makes them a perfect treat that I will definitely not pass up again. My sweet little helper agrees wholeheartedly! |
